  • GPS coordinates (lat/long)
  • Speed, heading
  • Ignition ON/OFF
  • Trip start/stop timestamps
  • Odometer
  • Distance traveled
  • Idle time monitoring

DeviceBoard updates the map in real-time with these parameters.

3.2 Vehicle Diagnostics (OBD-II / CAN Bus)

The following parameters can be captured:

  • Engine RPM
  • Battery voltage
  • Coolant temperature
  • Fuel level
  • Fuel consumption rate
  • Intake air temperature
  • Engine load

  • Harsh acceleration
  • Harsh braking
  • Sudden cornering
  • Over-speeding
  • Prolonged idling
  • Unsafe acceleration patterns

DeviceBoard logs each behavior event and calculates driver safety scores.

3.4 Additional Sensor Inputs

The gateway supports optional external sensors:

  • Door open/close
  • Cargo temperature (reefer truck integration)
  • TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
  • Fuel tank level sensor
  • Cargo load sensor

These enrich fleet visibility and compliance monitoring.

4. KANKANAL Dual Dashboard Camera Integration with DeviceBoard

The KANKANAL Dual Dashboard Camera includes:

✔ Forward-Facing ADAS Camera
