Mechanical Design Engineer – Electronics & Industrial Devices

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of enclosures and components for electronic and industrial devices including SecurePOS systems, energy meters, drones, industrial controllers, and consumer goods.
The role involves end-to-end design ownership from concept to production, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
You will collaborate with electronics, PCB, and industrial design teams to create integrated and innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities include 3D modeling, 2D drafting, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material selection.
Expertise in plastic injection molding, sheet metal, die-casting, and additive manufacturing is required.
You will consider thermal, structural, environmental, and ergonomic aspects of device design.
Hands-on involvement in prototype development, vendor interaction, and design validation is expected.
Knowledge of safety standards, EMI/EMC shielding, and regulatory compliance for electronics and industrial devices is essential.
Strong experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) practices is required.
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or NX is mandatory.
Experience with AutoCAD for 2D drafting and simulation tools like ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field is required.
2+ years of experience in mechanical design for electronics, industrial, or consumer products is preferred.
